Suspects arrested in two cases of deaths of 14-year-old girls
A 14-year-old boy arrested in connection with the death of 14-year-old girl Romy, is suspected to have sexually assaulted and then killed her, reports the Telegraaf on Wednesday.
The girl’s body was found on Friday 2 June in the water at the Emelaarspad in her home town of Hoevelaken, Gelderland.
She is thought to have known the boy from school.
Separately, a 16-year-old boy from Den Bosch has been arrested in connection with the death of 14-year-old Savannah from Bunschoten.
Her body was found in a ditch near the industrial land De Kronkels in Bunschoten on 4 June, and police are investigating tips after it was featured on the crime search programme, Opsporing Verzocht.
Both suspects will appear before judges on Thursday.
