There are more houses on the market in the €1m-plus category now than before the 2008 economic crisis, property data company Calcasa said in its annual survey published on Thursday.
The number of houses being marketed for more than €1m now total 48,300, an increase of 8,250 over a year ago, Calcasa said.
Amsterdam has more million-plus houses than any other place in the country. The Keizersgracht takes the crown with 281 listings at an average price of €2,550,000 or €6,250 per m2.
The Konijnenlaan in Wassenaar near The Hague is once again the most expensive street in the country. In Hilversum suburb Blaricum, 32% of all listed properties are in the million-plus range.
