Girls, 11 and 12, taken ill after eating pills they thought were sweets
Two girls aged 11 and 12 have been taken to hospital after eating what they thought were sweets they had found on the street, the Telegraaf reports.
The coloured pills were found in a bag in a suburban street in Zwanenburg, west of Amsterdam on Monday afternoon. It is not clear what sort of pills they were, but police say they are likely to be recreational drugs.
One of the girls was said to be extremely confused, the other in a worse state, the Telegraaf said.
