A 34-year-old man from Doorn in Utrecht has been jailed for one year, six months suspended, for secretly filming people while they were showering at a campsite in the province.

The man was found guilty of filming four people, one of whom was a minor, at the campsite in 2013. He managed to make the secret films by placing a camera in a shoe and a pot of hair gel which he poked under the cubicle doors.

When police raided his home, they found 16,000 images of child and animal porn plus 1,900 films and stolen children’s underwear and swimming costumes, the court was told.

The man was also ordered to undergo treatment.
