One of the two police officers arrested on corruption charges in Limburg in August sold a ‘couple of police uniforms’ and a police walkie-talkie to criminals, according to local newspaper De Limburger.

The walkie-talkie makes it possible for crooks to listen in on police conversations because it is connected to the internal police communication system C2000, the paper said.

The public prosecution department has declined to comment on the claims.
