Ajax draw 1-1 against Rostov in key Champions League qualifier
Amsterdam football club Ajax managed no more than a 1-1 draw against Russian side FK Rostov in the first leg of their final qualifying round for this season’s Champions League.
Ajax was down 0-1 in front of their home crowd after 13 minutes but Davy Klaassen’s penalty moved Ajax level before half-time.
The return leg takes place in Russia next week.
