Footballer Vermeer out of action until 2017
Feyenoord goalkeeper Kenneth Vermeer is out of action until after the winter break due to a torn Achilles tendon, reports NU.nl.
The 30-year-old footballer was being operated on at Erasmus MC on Tuesday, after a serious injury during training.
He was recently selected for the Dutch national team, and joined Feyenoord Rotterdam in 2014, from Amsterdam’s Ajax club.
