Amsterdam university’s supervisory board resigns amid disagreements
All the members of Amsterdam university’s supervisory board resigned on Friday, blaming the difficult working relationship between the representative advisory bodies and the supervisory board.
In particular, the supervisory board said it regretted the fact that talks with the central student council had been broken off and ‘there appears to be no more willingness for further discussion and constructive dialogue’.
The student council is highly critical of the supervisory board and the decision not to evaluate the alliance between the university and the city’s hbo college.
