45 kilos of ammunition found at terror suspect’s flat
Police found 45 kilos of ammunition in the Rotterdam apartment linked to terror suspect Anis B who was arrested last week, according to Nos.
The national prosecutor told the Dutch public broadcaster that the haul was mostly 7.62 calibre bullets, of the type used in Kalashnikovs.
Anis B was picked up by special anti-terror forces on the street in Rotterdam-West and has been wanted in France since December. His flat in the Kralingen district was raided last Wednesday
He was discovered after the arrest of Reda Kriket in Paris, who was driving a car registered in B’s name. Kriket also had B’s telephone number on a SIM card. The French government believes both were in Syria together from the end of 2014 until the beginning of 2015, and Kriket is suspected of planning an attack.
B is currently fighting extradition to France.
