PSV has high hopes ahead of key Champions League tie
Eindhoven football club PSV will meet CSKA Moscow in their key Champions League tie on Tuesday night.
A home win will see the Dutch side move into the knock-out round of Europe’s premier football competition. In total, 13 teams are competing for the seven unclaimed places in the round of 16.
CSKA Moscow are currently bottom of the group with four points, while PSV are on seven, one point behind Manchester United and two points behind Wolfsburg.
PSV coach Phillip Cocu says the club will do all it can to make this an ‘unforgettable evening’.
‘We are go into the game with the objective to win,’ he said on the club’s website. ‘It is all about being well prepared.’
A draw could also see PSV go through.
