Missing 13-year-old girl safe, 41-year-old man arrested
A 41-year-old man was arrested on Monday in connection with the disappearance of a 13-year-old girl, who vanished from a holiday park last Wednesday.
Lisa Tuk, who comes from Spijkenisse, was found this morning and is safe and well, the Telegraaf reports.
The girl was identified in a bus heading from Koudekerk aan den Rijn to Rotterdam. According to RTL news, she was found following detective work rather than a tip-off.
The man, who was picked up in the street outside his home in Koudekerk, is being questioned by police about his role in the disappearance.
The girl was last seen on Wednesday while on holiday with her parents at a holiday park in the Veluwe region. According to one report, she crept out of the tent she was sharing with her sister in the middle of the night.
According to the Telegraaf, her father, Marco Tuk, said she had been approached by an unknown boy on Facebook.
‘We are so happy that Lisa has been found safe and sound,’ he told RTL news. ‘We don’t yet know what happened and if she was frightened over the past few days.’
