A 24-year-old man from Spijkenisse near Rotterdam has been arrested after police found 400 tins of powdered baby milk and 1,000 possible Viagra pills in a van he was driving.

Police arrested the man after spotting the van loaded with tins on the A15. The man was unable to explain where the tins came from and said he was simply the driver.

The origin of the baby milk powder is now being investigated and the pills tested to find out if they are real Viagra.

Earlier this week, police said they suspected organised gangs were behind a wave of shoplifting incidents involving baby milk.
