Man arrested in Zaandam shooting ‘unconnected’ to killing
The man arrested in Amsterdam-Noord following a gangland killing next to a primary school in Zaandam is unconnected to the crime, police have told news agency ANP.
The man was picked up in the vicinity of a burning minibus, now known to be the getaway vehicle used by the killers.
Four masked men armed with automatic weapons gunned down underworld figure Lucas Boom in the commuter town on Tuesday.
