Two Dutch would-be jihadis picked up in Turkey
Two Dutch brothers of Moroccan origin have been picked up in the Turkish resort of Alanya on their way to cross into Syria, Turkish news website Daily Sabah reports.
The two, aged 24 and 26, were apparently arrested after a tip-off. They remain in custody and will be sent back to the Netherlands. Earlier this week, Turkey picked up nine British nationals who wanted to join IS forces in Syria.
The Dutch counter-terrorism unit estimates 190 people have gone to fight in Syria and Iraq. Of them, at least 30 are known to have died.
