ABN Amro worth at least €15bn, minister tells Dutch kids
State-owned bank ABN Amro is worth at least €15bn according to finance ministry advisors, finance minister Jeroen Dijsselbloem told a special news conference for children.
The financial services group was nationalised in 2008 for €16.8bn and has had a further €5bn in investment since then.
The bank is due to be floated on the Amsterdam stock exchange later this year after MPs agreed to its privatisation last August.
Dijssebloem is expected to update parliament on the sale later this month.
