House prices continued to rise in January
House prices in the Netherlands were 2.1% higher in January this year than January 2014, the national statistics office CBS and land registry office said on Friday.
January’s increase was the 10th monthly rise in a row. In December, prices were up 2%.
The increase means house prices are back at their mid-2003 level, but still 18.6% down on their August 2008 peak.
The number of homes changing hands in January was up 6% on a year ago.
