Museum season ticket users top 1.1 million
Some 1.1 million out of the Dutch population of almost 17 million had a museum season ticket last year, the NRC reports on Monday.
This is an increase of 100,000 on 2013 and represents a rise of 10%, the paper says. The number of visits made by season ticket holders rose by 1.1 million to 7.5 million in total.
The Museumkaart season ticket costs €54.95 for an adult. Some 400 museums accept the cards and receive compensation from a special fund when people use them.
