Chinese takeover of ADO Den Haag still not completed

ado den haag logoThe takeover of The Hague football club ADO Den Haag by a Chinese sports marketing bureau has been delayed for a fourth time, according to football website VI.nl.

United Vansen International Sports went public with its takeover of the club in June but the ADO has not yet seen the €8m promised by the Chinese firm, VI says.

At the time, United Vansen said it would make major investments in the club and would get them into the Europa League competition within three years.

ADO Den Haag finished ninth in the Dutch Eredivisie last year.

United Vansen International Sports has been involved in taking European super cup matches and other events to China.
