MH17 wreckage shipped to the Netherlands this week
Parts of the wreckage of the Malaysian Airways plane which was brought down by a missile over Eastern Ukraine in July will be brought back to the Netherlands for research this week.
The wreckage of flight MH17 will brought by lorries to the Gilze Rijen air base where it will be examined by air safety investigators. The investigation will involve a partial reconstruction of the plane, news agency ANP says.
The defence ministry has organised the transport, which will take place in convoys spread over the week.
