Apeldoorn households face up to five days without gas
It will take up to five days before 545 households in the north of Apeldoorn will have gas again, network company Liander said on Monday.
The buildings affected by the loss of gas include a nursing home with 100 rooms, news agency ANP reports.
The households lost their gas supplies on Sunday after water and mud got into a gas pipeline because of a broken water pipe. There was a similar incident in a neighbouring district earlier this year and Liander says some of the same people may be affected.
The council is offering people affected by the gas fall-out extra blankets and electric heaters.
