A hockey coach at the centre of a scandal over secret recordings made in the girls changing rooms at Wassenaar club HGC was also active at HDM in The Hague.

The public prosecution department said on Thursday Luigi C had been a coach at HDM from 1999 and ‘it is thought he began making secret films that same year’, the spokesman said.

C moved to the Wassenaar club in 2006. He is known to have filmed hundreds of girls from both HGC and at least 36 visiting clubs.

The investigation into C, who has been remanded in custody for 60 days, has revealed he has previous convictions for exposing himself in public.
