150 tips after broadcast about murdered former health minister
Over 150 people contacted a television crime show on Monday night after it focused on the murder of a former government minister.
Former health minister Els Borst, 81, was found dead in the garage of her home in Bilthoven in February. She died of wounds thought to have been sustained through a ‘criminal act’.
Police have not given any further details about her injuries or about the time of death but are assuming she was killed by someone with psychiatric problems.
For this reason, the show appealed to people working in the mental healthcare sector to come forward if they noticed anyone showing out of the ordinary behaviour or making comments about Bos around February 8.
So far 400 witnesses have been heard in the investigation. The public prosecution department is offering a €10,000 reward.
