World’s biggest cruise ship arrives in Rotterdam
The world’s biggest cruise ship, the Oasis of the Seas, has arrived in the heart of Rotterdam.
Thousands of people turned out to watch the ship arrive on Monday night and anchor on the Wilhelminakade, broadcaster Nos said. The Oasis of the Seas is 362 metres long and carries up to 6,300 passengers and almost 2,400 crew.
The ship is being taken to massive dry dock in the Botlek area for maintenance and will be in the Netherlands for two weeks.
