Police arrest 38 for Ajax-Zwolle cup final fireworks trouble
Dutch police have now arrested 38 people in connection with crowd trouble at the Ajax PEC Zwolle KNVB Cup final in April.
The match was suspended for a time after fireworks were thrown on the pitch, prompting police to start an investigation to try to identify the culprits.
In July, 23 people were arrested and other arrests followed this week. Several were identified after their photographs were placed online.
All 38 suspects have been banned from the Ajax ground and the centre of Amsterdam on match days and the Dutch football association has banned them from attending any football matches for the next three years. Several will also appear in court in November.
