Courier companies book rising turnover
Courier companies booked a 9% rise in turnover in the first quarter compared with the same period a year ago, the central statistics agency CBS said on Wednesday.
Couriers have seen turnover rise for the past several years but this is the biggest rise to date. According to the CBS, it is because of increasing online sales.
The Netherlands has 6,000 courier companies.
