Imports and exports rise in April
The Dutch economy is slowly coming out of recession, with exports improving 2% in April, the central statistics office CBS said on Thursday.
Imports were up 1.2% in April compared with the year earlier period, but down on the 3.1% registered in March.
The value of exported goods reached €36.1bn, 2.5% up on a year earlier, while imported goods increased 1.3% to €31.6bn. The trade deficit rose €500m, to €4.5bn.
