Dozens of football fans plan trip to Brazil to watch Oranje
Dozens of fanatical football supporters have been signing up for a special charter trip to take them to Brazil for the World Cup quarter-final against Costa Rica, broadcaster Nos says on Monday.
The all-in trip – which does not include a ticket for the game but does cover two nights in a hotel – costs from €2,895. So far over 100 packages have been sold for the special trip. ‘But if demand increases, we will charter a bigger aircraft,’ Sunweb’s Hans Pluimers told the broadcaster.
FlyBrazil is also offering nine or 16-day trips for up to €1,999. That might seem expensive but ‘with a little luck, you’ll get to see two games,’ spokesman Paul Kohnen said.
