Dutch banker is new head of European banking federation
Dutchman Wim Mijs is to lead the European banking federation EBF from September, replacing Belgium’s Guido Ravoet who is retiring.
Mijs is current head of the association of Dutch banks NVB and the International Banking Federation.
The EBF represents over 5,000 banks in its dealings with the European Commission and European parliament.
