ING leaves distinctive Amsterdam shoe office
ING is moving out of its distinctive shoe-shaped office on the edge of Amsterdam’s Zuidas business district as part of a reorganisation.
The financial services group is moving the headquarters of its Nationale Nederlanden insurance arm to The Hague to cut costs and consolidate office space.
ING is going to redevelop the glass-fronted building to make it suitable for multiple occupants. The flagship building was opened by the then prince Willem-Alexander in 2002.
The move will take place in the second quarter of 2015.
