Seven out of 10 Dutch use social media websites
At least seven out of 10 Dutch people are active on social media sites, with Facebook and Twitter leading the way, according to research by national statistics office CBS.
In 2012, 90% of the over 12s used internet in one form or another, the CBS said. The 18 to 25 age group is the most fanatical, with 98% active on internet. Of the over 75s, 30% are keen internet users.
