Dutch gymnast Epke Zonderland on Sunday added the world high bar title to his list of achievements at the world championships in Antwerp.

Zonderland is also European and Olympic champion – the first Dutch gymnast to ever win Olympic gold. ‘I’ve won every title, it is fantastic, a dream come true,’ Zonderland told Nos television after the event.

‘But I have no plans to stop and will enjoy my sport for a couple of years to come. Today was good but not perfect and that is the stimulus I need to do even better.’

Zonderland ended just ahead of Germany’s Fabian Hambüchen.
