Minister imposes maximum charge for a driving licence
Ministers on Friday voted in favour of a decision to set a maximum fee of €38.48 for a driving licence.
The cost of a driving licence varies from €64.50 in Groningen to below €44 in Nijmegen, according to research by motoring organisation ANWB earlier this year.
Transport minister Melanie Schultz hopes the limit will end the wide variation in driving licence costs.
