Police have arrested a 23-year-old man in connection with a fatal fire in the southern town of Cuijk in which three people died.

A woman and her two teenage daughters died in the blaze which police think may have been started deliberately.

The man had climbed into a telecom transmitter close to the house early on Thursday morning and was eventually talked down by police in the afternoon. He was then taken into custody.
