Fyra manufacturer demands reports

The manufacturer of the Fyra high-speed train was in court on Friday to demand sight of reports written by Dutch and Belgian railways.

Dutch railways NS and Belgian railways NMBS cancelled the high-speed service between Amsterdam and Brussels last month citing concerns about safety and quality.

The Italian manufacturer, which denies claims the train is not fit for the job, wants copies of the reports written by both railway companies. These will be given to German experts for an independent judgement.
