Temporary employment sector shrinks again
Turnover in the temporary employment sector will stabilise at best this year, ABN Amro economists said on Tuesday in a reaction to figures from sector association ABU.
ABU figures show the sector shrunk in January, bringing to an end the marginal improvement in December.
ABN Amro economists told news agency AFN those figures and the somber outlook for the Dutch economy this year point to a stabilisation of turnover or a slight fall.
However, the bank does expect temporary employment in the industrial sector to grow by 3% this year, with industry leading a rival of the general economy.
