PostNL reaches agreement with union members
PostNL said on Tuesday union members have voted in favour of the pay and conditions agreement reached with the unions last December.
The agreement provides for a 1.7% pay rise, plus a further 0.4% once a final agreement is reached on new pension rules. Talks on changes to the pension and early retirement scheme are still continuing.
The new pay and conditions agreement runs for one year.
PostNL and the unions have also agreed to extend for one year a social plan aimed at helping postal workers who are made redundant as part of a reorganisation to cope with falling mail volumes.
