Hunt resumed for missing skater, two die in road accidents
The bad weather is thought to have caused two accidents in Groningen on Monday morning, in which two people died.
In one, a man was killed when his car skidded off the road and into a canal.
In the second incident, a car was involved in a head on collision with a bus.
Meanwhile, the emergency services have resumed their search for a 58-year-old man who failed to return home after a skating trip to the Nieuwkoopse lakes between Amsterdam and Gouda on Sunday.
A defence ministry helicopter and an unmanned aircraft equiped with an infra-red camera are being used in the hunt.
