Foreign Affairs minister Uri Rosenthal addressed the United Nations Assembly on Tuesday. His speech, entitled ‘Freedom – A right for for everyone, a duty for governments, a mission of the United Nations’, focused on the challenges of freedom. ‘A severe financial and social crisis is threatening growth and trade around the globe. The crisis is undermining people’s ability to earn a living and enjoy freedom to the fullest extent.’
