Arcadis lands US contract

Civil engineering group Arcadis on Monday announced it has won a five-year contract for management and environmental services for the modernisation of two delapidated docks in California. The contract is worth $22m.

Modernisation of the docks is part of the Middle Harbour Redevelopment Plan at Long Beach, California. The new container terminal will have its own rail network and will handle twice as much traffic with half the air pollution.
Arcadis will provide feasibility studies, planning, cost management and building supervision and inspection.
