Dutch workers have fewer holidays than EU average
Dutch workers have an average 30 days holiday a year, including public holidays, which is below the EU average of 34.4 days, according to figures from European working conditions institute Eurofound.
The Danes and Germans lead the ranking, with 40 days holiday a year.
Dutch workers enjoy just five public holidays a year, compared with an EU average of 9.6 Spain tops the list with 14.
