Social affairs minister Henk Kamp has agreed to investigate the culmulative affect of 11 different tax and benefit regulations which cover children, the Financieele Dagblad reports on Tuesday.

The research, which is backed by parliament, will focus on whether the rules reinforce each other, overlap or actually work against each other.
The rules range from child benefit, which is paid to all families, to help with childcare fees.
