November second warmest since 1901
November was the second warmest since 1901 with an average temperature over three degrees warmer than normal, the KNMI weathe bureau said on Monday.
The average temperature this year was 9.5 Celsius, compared with 6.2 Celsius in a normal year. Autumn as a whole is the third-warmest since 1901, with 2005 and 2006 in the top two places.
November was also wetter than normal, with 118 mm of rain, compared with average rainfall of 82 mm. In Zeeland and the Wadden Sea area 170 mm of rain fell.
