Family health insurance bill set to rise €100
The average family will pay around €100 more for health insurance next year, the Telegraaf reports on Wednesday, quoting website Verzekeringssite.nl
The figure is based on an analysis of health insurance fee increases already published.
The health ministry had forecast basic premium charges would go up by around €20 per adult over the full year.
Most insurance firms are adding around €3 to the monthly fee, taking the average to between €94 and €96.
Dutch health insurance companies are free to set their own charges but the health ministry dictates what must be included in the basic package.
