Dutch diet guru Sonja Bakker has pulled out of plans to begin a new tv series, will not publish any more books in the near future and has closed her offices, news agency ANP reports on Friday.

Bakker is in the process of divorcing her husband Koen Lenting, who is also her business manager, the agency says.
Bakker sold over a million diet books at the height of her fame in 2006 and 2007.
‘I am taking some time out because it is all getting too much for me,’ Bakker said on her website.
