Thousands hit by pension plunge
Hundreds of thousands of people without a corporate pension scheme are set to be far worse off in their old age because of recent share price collapses, according to consumer affairs tv show Radar.
Some 700,000 people are currently saving up for their own private pensions, often using investments, but over half lack any guarantees about the final value, according to the insurers organisation VvV.
