Slumdog Millionaire wins Rotterdam prize
The film Slumdog Millionaire, about a poor Indian orphan who wins a fortune, has won the public’s prize at this year’s Rotterdam film festival.
The 38th edition of the festival closed on Sunday, having attracted 341,000 visitors, slightly fewer than in 2008, reported news agency ANP.
