British wine group goes Dutch
Dutch wine company Baarsma has taken a 75% stake in British wine merchants Armit in a deal valuing the company at £14m, reports the Sunday Times.
Armit not only supplies private clients, but many of Britain’s top hotels and restaurants, including the Savoy grill and master chef Gordon Ramsay’s restaurant at Claridge’s hotel, the paper says.
