Heineken claims premium market growth

Brewing group Heineken booked a 6.7% increase in sales in the first six months of this year while underlying net profit was up 5.3%. In total, sales reached €6.4bn.

CEO Jean-François van Boxmeer said it was a good performance ‘against a background of weaker economies and increased input costs’.
Heineken had again outperformed the market and increased its share of the international premium segment, he said in a statement.
