Oce reports strong profit fall in US
Printer maker Oce opened the second quarter reporting season on Thursday, announcing a sharp drop in profits in the US.
Oce said second quarter earnings had fallen by 70% to €5.5m on sales down 9% at nearly €705m.
The company announced a further €50m cost cutting programme involving the loss of 600 jobs, on top of the already ongoing €80m revamp.
