Hotelier refused licence due to speeding fines

Hotelier Chris Luken has been refused a bar and catering licence by Ubbergen council in Gelderland because his ‘social hygiene’ is not up to scratch, the Telegraaf reports.


Two speeding tickets and a fine for employing Poles without proper papers is reason to doubt his integrity under the Bibob laws aimed at weeding out people with criminal connections, the council says.
